Eye health
Red or irritated eyes, something in the eye, and regular checks on eye health are part of what we do. The doctor looks, explains and, when a problem needs an ophthalmologist, refers you to one. We do not do eye surgery.

Eye emergencies
Call our office and tell the front desk what happened.
Results vary from person to person. The doctor tells you what the findings mean for you.
The doctor asks what changed, when it started and whether it comes and goes.
We look at the front and the back of the eye, and we may take pictures of the inside.
The doctor explains it in plain words and says what comes next.
Some problems need a second visit with us. Others need an ophthalmologist, and we send your records.
A visit about a problem with your eyes is usually billed to medical insurance, not to a vision plan.
A red eye, an irritated eye or a follow-up is billed to medical insurance.
A check-up with no problem is billed to a vision plan. If we find something, the doctor says which part is billed where.
We tell you the fee before the visit starts and give you a written estimate on request.
